The company wanted to stock bulk rather than packaged AdBlue because bulk storage was more cost efficient. They had no existing underground tanks for AdBlue, and no plans to install them because of the cost and disruption of groundworks.

We were approached for advice on installing an overground terminal tank that could be incorporated into their existing stand-alone dispensing and fuel management system. This area gives drivers direct and easy access to their AdBlue supplies.

The tank needed to be fully compliant with industry regulations and hold up to 5,000 litres of AdBlue safely and securely.

The Standard tank also includes a pre-installed Tank Management System (TMS) for improved logistical savings and better stock management. The TMS features an easy-to-read LCD display and offers content measurement, a leak detection alarm and overfill prevention.

BlueMaster Terminal Tanks feature a submersible pump and stainless-steel fill-line which can be connected to an external AdBlue dispenser. In this instance, the tank has been placed around 50m from the dispensing system, with a standard pipe connection to the dispensing unit. A 2” stainless-steel dry coupling connection creates a closed fluid path and ensures no impurities can contaminate the AdBlue while filling the tank.
